ICB Beetle

Iron Cross Blister Beetles are out and about in their warning colors. Red means nasty and these beetles are particularly so. They make the compound cantharadin (C10H12O4) (yes, it's natural and organic!); it can blister skin (hence the name) and is also very poisonous. You'd have to eat more than a few to get a fatal dose, but don't even try it. Just look, don't eat.
